| Mission Statement : | The objective of the association, formed in Bulawayo on December 6 2003, is to provide a platform and resource base for all community radio initiatives as well as organisations and individuals who have an interest in promoting, establishing and running community radio stations in Zimbabwe. To assist the setting up of community based radio stations in Zimbabwe, to serve as body taht will speak on behalf of all community stations initiatives as well as facilitating research and dissemination of news Other activities of ZACRAS include creating awareness on the value of community radio for development, freedom of speech and the promotion of local culture, especially among marginalised minorities. | ||
