In 2004, Search for Common Ground commissioned Research Solutions Ltd, a Nairobi based research company, to conduct a survey of radio professionals in sub-Saharan Africa about peacebuilding.
The key objectives of the study were to gauge their knowledge of, attitude towards and use of different peacebuilding radio techniques.
Between August and October 2004, overall 1000 radio professionals (producers, presenters, journalists, playwright…) were targeted. A total of 423 completed the questionnaire either by email or through face to face interviews. An edited version of the report is now available on line on Radio for Peace Building website. |
